Easy Out
Have trouble getting cakes out of pans?
Set pans on a damp towel as soon as they are removed from the oven. In about 10 minutes the cakes should come out easily!
Thermos Clean
Forgot to clean your thermos? Try dropping a denture tablet in the bottle and filling it with very hot water. Let stand overnight and wash out in the morning!
Waste Not
Before throwing away an " empty" bottle of syrup or honey heat it in the microwave on high for 10 to 20 seconds. You might be surprised how much is left in the bottle!
Drain helper
hot salt water poured down the drain will prevent odors and remove grease. Use 1/2 cup salt to each quart of hot water.
Do It Right
Always dust before you vacuum . Then you vacuum away the dust that falls!
